Task: Project Identity
Client: zakk – Zentrum für Aktion, Kultur & Kommunikation gGmbH
Year: 2018
The time of arriving refugees is over. The city community needs an "update". The project of the same name focuses on young people with experience of fleeing between the ages of 16 and 27. It promotes their social and cultural inclusion, with special attention being paid to women and girls.
Based on project experiences at zakk, the main focus is on music and dance. Both genres are closely linked to the ‘lifeworlds’ of the young people. They offer possibilities of expression when words are lacking, and thus make it easier to build bridges between the different young people.
We developed a logo in which each individual sign embodies the different aspects of the project.
As this is a multi-year project consisting of many different events, we have developed a design system that is dynamic and flexible and allows for a wide variety of impressions.
